Open Access Publishing

The Future Governance Systems (FGS) Book Series is committed to advancing the principles of Open Science by supporting the broad dissemination of high-quality scholarly books through Open Access publishing. We believe that unrestricted access to academic knowledge enhances global collaboration, accelerates scientific discovery, and increases the societal impact of research.

Books published under the Open Access model are made freely available online, allowing anyone to read, download, share, and cite the published work without subscription or access fees. Open Access publication does not affect the editorial quality or peer-review standards of the series. All Open Access books undergo the same rigorous editorial assessment, peer review, copyediting, and production processes as non-Open Access publications.

Copyright and Licensing

Authors publishing Open Access retain the copyright of their work. Upon publication, authors grant Dealings Publishing a license to publish, distribute, preserve, and promote the work while maintaining appropriate attribution to the author(s).

Open Access titles are normally published under one of the following Creative Commons licenses:

• CC BY 4.0 (Creative Commons Attribution) – permits sharing, adaptation, and reuse, including commercial use, provided appropriate credit is given to the original author(s).

The applicable license will be specified in the publishing agreement between the author(s) and Dealings Publishing.

Third-Party Materials

Authors are responsible for obtaining permission to reproduce any third-party content included in their manuscript unless such material is already available under an appropriate open license. All third-party materials must be properly acknowledged and credited.

Self-Archiving

Authors are encouraged to deposit the final published version of their Open Access book or chapter in institutional repositories, disciplinary repositories, personal websites, or other recognized scholarly platforms, provided that the published version includes proper citation and a link to the official version on the Dealings Publishing platform.

Research Integrity

Open Access publication does not alter the ethical standards of the series. All manuscripts must comply with the Publication Ethics and Policies of the Future Governance Systems Book Series, including originality, research integrity, transparency, responsible authorship, and ethical peer review.

Funding

Authors may use institutional, governmental, or research funder support to cover Open Access publication costs where applicable. Authors are encouraged to consult the requirements of their funding organizations regarding Open Access compliance before publication.
